The Giving of the Thanks :)

Journal Entry: Fri Nov 20, 2009, 1:31 PM

So, really, I just wanted to replace my ninja journal cause I realized it was a bit too bloody and violent for me...cause really, I ain't bloody or violent ._. Anyway! :D

For Thanksgiving, I'm going to my grandma's house :) I haven't had Thanksgiving at her house in soooo long; the last time I remember was when my family was there, plus my cousins, and my grandma and grandpa. We don't ever have those big family gatherings anymore, so that tells me it was a looooong time ago. I'm looking forward to going, even though it will just be me, my mom, my aunt and uncle, plus my grandma. Auuuuuughhhhh but I have tons of homework D: So sad...I have to read an entire book, plus a bunch of other little things. But I'll find time to do it, like during the eight hour drive to her house :) Which, by the way, will be interesting since my mom and I will have our dog in the backseat, and he doesn't like riding in a car that much :/ He whines a lot, and he gives me that big-eyed, sad sad look...but he'll live :aww:

Also! Before I leave Monday, my friends and I are having a charity bakesale :) It's supposed to holiday seson themed(like Thanksgiving and Christmas-y), and I'm excited! I'm making apple pie bites, which is just baked apple inside a biscuit with sugar and cinnamon. We have lots of other yummy things for sale, including two or so big cakes that I get to help decorate with frosting flowers and whatnot. I just hope I can make a frosting rose @_@ They make it look so easy, and I've seen it done a million times, but I don't know if I can do it. I'll try!

So, I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving! :boogie: Just remember, you're supposed to give thanks, too, not just eat turkey! :)

Ah, thank you so much :D I was hoping someone would notice that and get a good laugh. It was something I got from my math teacher :)

I was electrocuted yesterday, but sucking all the water out of the toilet with a vacuum seemed like a good idea at the time...

Hehe, yes, cookies ^^ They're the kind that you get in little
pre-made dough rounds and bake for a few minutes(yes, I'm
cheating...I'm also baking them in the toaster, not the oven
XD) And it's great you're understanding manga stuff ^^ Haha..
I get so frustrated when I don't understand things ^^;
